Crystal Alicia Garrett is originally from Columbia, South Carolina & currently resides in New York City. She is an American singer and actress.

 

   It all began at the tender age of four while listening to Mariah Carey; Crystal's mother noticed her ability to replicate Mariah’s high notes. Throughout her youth and as a young adult she continued to hone her skills as a singer in choir, chorus, drama class and private voice lessons.

 

   She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in voice which afforded her training in classical technique. She also studied theater and film acting at the University of South Carolina for her acting certificate. Upon graduation she continued her acting studies in Atlanta Georgia with Erin Elizabeth Burns through extensive Meisner Technique training.
 

   Crystal has opened for Jennifer Holiday, Shanice, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Robin Thicke & Marques Houston. She has performed as an actress and Guest Entertainer Production Vocalist for Princess cruise lines, touring Northern Europe, the Mediterranean , the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand in various shows including "Born To Dance" which was produced by Stephen Schwartz who also wrote and produced for many captivating shows such as "Wicked" on Broadway.

 

   Crystal has made Guest star appearances on tv shows such as ATLANTA on FX and “Tyler Perry’s If Loving You is Wrong” on OWN. She made her big screen debut as Sapphire Devaughn in the satirical comedy “HONK FOR JESUS SAVE YOUR SOUL” which is now streaming.
 

   Her single entitled “I Need You” is available on all digital outlets worldwide including iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.
